The Nara trip was a rainy one, and I forgot to put my memory card back into my camera before leaving for the trip, so, eh, sorry! I have nothing to show for the trip because I don't know how to get the pictures out of my camera that were saved to the camera itself...Help? If someone can tell me how, you can see a few pictures from Todaiji Castle.
These aren't new, but you, my viewers, have not seen them yet. There are a few from my walk from school to the train station, then some stuff in department store.

World map with time zones in the student lounge at school.

Orientation week, with Emily. I don't see her much these days...
Below are a few interesting shirts my friend David and I saw as we were trying to find a coffee place in a department store near the Hirakata train station.

So they started selling Halloween things in Japan a few years ago, even though it's not a Japanese holiday....hmmmm. Weird.

What time is it?!?

Hahaha

The first (and only) pancakes (note: expensive!) that I have found in Japan. They were ok...

Interesting drinks
I am pretty sure the following two were in Kyoto:

Pooh-san Cereal! In a TINY box!

What some of the cereal looks like---so cute!
This is a piece of art (statue?? I can't think in English!) that is on campus at Kansai Gaidai. I took these on a sunny day, it was fun. You can see some of the campus in its reflection. I did not find any explanation of what it was (if it was built in some one's memory, etc).

These last ones are from my daily walk to the train station from school:

Kansai Gaidai stop for the Keihan Buses

On bikes

On foot

The sun is setting...

Basically, "pick up your dog's poop!" (Literal translation says something about it being the manners of a pet owner. The dog is saying "Let's not forget to pick up dog's poop :-)")
